Thanks to its personnel and to its methodical and scientific planning, Fresh Gourmet has evolved into one of the top companies in the field of mass catering and has won important distinctions.

In 2002, it was presented with an award by the Foodservice Consultants Society International for the best planned unit in Europe.

This distinction in combination with the special place it occupies in the field of industrial production and processing of culinary products, gave Fresh Gourmet the opportunity to «be there», that is at the Olympic Games in 2004.

In Greece’s historic Games in 2004, Fresh Gourmet was the exclusive supplier to the athletes. Showing great care and respect for the many different dietary, national and religious needs of the athletic teams, the people of Fresh Gourmet designed 150 new products and produces 250 tons of food for the Olympic Games of 2004. In this way they managed to win the gold medal for flavour and service, giving all those working at Fresh Gourmet a sense of pride and justification.
