Since the establishment of Fresh Gourmet, it has strictly followed scientific planning and programming, with the result that it is continuously being modernized and expanded. Thus, today Fresh Gourmet has an ultra-modern production unit totaling an area of 4.500 square metres, which is located in a private area of 11.500 sq. m. in the Industrial Zone in Irakleio, Crete. This production unit contains 4 fully equipped production lines: 2 production lines for BULK – professional packaging -, 1 line for the packaging of food portions, and 1 line for sweets. Food production takes place in an area totaling 1.500 sq.m. while the production of sweets in an area of 450 sq.m. The storage spaces cover an area of 1,000 sq.m. and contain 700 pallet spaces for deep freezing, 180 for conservation and 120 for dry loads, thus offering the company lots of possibilities.

Fresh Gourmet’s production unit produces exclusively deep frozen dishes, savoury and sweet, which are divided into 2 categories: hot dishes and cold dishes.

Fresh Gourmet’s modern production unit together with the fully trained personnel in the company, allow it to produce on an annual basis of one shift, 1200 tons of savoury dishes and 300 tons of sweets. Daily production reaches 5,000 kilos of food, an amount corresponding to 8,000 portions.

Fresh Gourmet considers its people to be its most important distinguishing feature, as they allow the company to supply high-quality products and maintain its upward trend. Highly knowledgeable in their field, with long-term experience, respect for the client and responsibility, the people at Fresh Gourmet work hard day in, day out, to ‘serve’ us always the best. Today Fresh Gourmet employs about 90 people.
